Privacy

Mixtape does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account to make, nothing to sign in to, and no server of mine for anything to be sent to.

Specifically:

• No analytics. No usage statistics, no crash reporting, no event logging — first-party or otherwise.
• No tracking. No advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting, nothing shared with anyone for any purpose.
• No third-party services. No SDKs, no frameworks phoning home. The only network requests Mixtape makes are to Apple’s own Music APIs, on your behalf.
• No data brokers, no sale, no sharing. There is nothing to sell, and it would not be sold if there were.

Your music library stays private. Mixtape reads your Apple Music library through Apple’s Music APIs, with the permission you grant when you first open it. It only uses this access to do what you ask it for: show what is playing, edit its rating, and manage its playlist membership. Because Mixtape talks to Apple Music, Apple sees the requests it makes on your behalf, exactly as it does when you use the Music app. That relationship is between you and Apple, and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy, not this one.

Changes. If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Today it reads August 27, 2026.
